Build Relationships At Live Events by Guest Blogger Tracey Fieber

Over the years I have attended and presented at a wide variety of local, national and international professional conferences, trainings and live events. Then I was introduced to the online world of social media networking, blogging, and connecting with like minded colleagues and friends around the world.

As much as I have enjoyed and still enjoy these incredible relationships I have formed online, it is always more exciting to meet people in person and connect eye to eye. My guest blogger, Tracey Fieber, shares her insights and strategies for building relationships and promoting yourself and your business by attending live events. I thought this a very useful post as I attend business events often. I agree it is so important to maintain and develop the connections after the events. That is why social media is a brilliant resource, and also skype . I always think the sound of hearing people speak is very important. All the best Rosemary

Rosemary,
I have met so many wonderful people at live events, local and distant, and then I often don’t follow up. The contact for all intents and purposes has disappeared. Without follow up, you are soon forgotten as we are all meeting so many new people all the time.
